North Texas Leadership Training for Christ (NTLTC) is a faith-based program designed to help students in grades 3 through 12 discover and develop their spiritual gifts while preparing them for leadership and service within the church. Established in 1989 and affiliated with Churches of Christ, NTLTC offers a variety of individual and group events—ranging from Bible Bowl and speech to drama, art, and service projects—that encourage participants to grow in biblical knowledge, communication, and servant leadership. The program culminates in an annual convention held over Easter weekend at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, where students showcase their talents and receive feedback in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Rather than ranking participants, NTLTC emphasizes personal growth and spiritual development, awarding Gold, Silver, or Bronze ratings based on effort and excellence. Through year-round preparation and mentorship, NTLTC fosters a culture of encouragement, helping young Christians build confidence and a deeper commitment to their faith.
