Does God Watch Over Me?
I believe one of the deepest human fears is that of being alone. Life turns into feelings of being unnoticed, being unprotected, and being unseen. Children feel it in the dark. Adults feel it in the storms of life. But God’s Word gives us a truth that pushes back fear. God says, “You are never unnoticed.” “You are never unprotected.” “You are never unseen.” The psalmist said, “He who watches over you does not slumber” (Psalm 121.3). David said, “The Lord is my shepherd” (Psalm 23.1). Jesus said, “Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him” (Matthew 6.8). God is always there attentive to my every care.
