Are We Commandment Keepers?
How many kinds of love can you name? First love? Puppy love? True love? Marital love? Sacrificial love? We are saved by the love of God; but are we required to do anything else? Jesus said, “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments” (John 14.15). Jesus said if we truly love Him then we will show it by keeping His commandments. Did you notice that it is not a request but a command? Does it really matter? Are we commandment keepers? Doesn’t that sound cynical when it is said that way?
