Do I Really Love The Lost?
How often have you sung the song “You Never Mentioned Him To Me” with tears in your eyes? Maybe the tears arise because a loved one has passed into eternity unprepared to meet God. Or possibly, an opportunity to share the Gospel with one you deeply love passed and you didn’t take advantage of it. The song is designed to encourage us to freely share the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ with everyone we meet. But often, it has a much more sobering influence because we realize our shortcomings in doing the Lord’s will.
