When Other Christians Fail You
Why are we so disappointed when a fellow brother or sister in Christ fails us? It is heartrending to think of the number of Christians who no longer go to worship because of the actions of other Christians. I have seen it happen a number of times over the years. One brother is offended over how another brother treated him; a sister is disappointed in the unChristian-like reaction of another sister she held in high esteem; a member is upset not understanding why a decision was made by the eldership; and numerous other disappointments and provocations. It is so sad though that time and time again, when Christians are offended by other Christians, they quit coming to worship and walking faithfully before God.
