Will I Do All Things?
We often quote Philippians 4.13, “I can do all things through Him [Christ] who strengthens me.” But how often do we actually put it into practice? Paul said he could do “all things.” He was not stating he could do all things through his own wisdom, strength, and knowledge. Paul relied on the strength which he received from Christ. Now he had firm confidence that nothing would be required of him of which he could not endure because Jesus was with him. There was no trial, no temptation, nor hardship which he would face that could overcome him because he could count upon the strength given unto him by Christ.
