“Lord, What Do You Want Me To Do?”
When Jesus appeared to Saul of Tarsus on the road to Damascus, after He identified Himself to Saul, Saul said, “Lord, what do you want me to do?” (Acts 9.6, NKJV). After Saul finally realized that Jesus, whom he so violently persecuted, truly was the Messiah as the Christians proclaimed, he humbly submitted to the Lord’s will. As Christians, we strive to follow daily this same Jesus to whom Saul became subservient. It is our goal to love Him and keep His commandments (John 14.15). What great peace and joy we have in our hearts when we trust Him knowing, regardless of what happens, He is always with us (Hebrews 13.5).
