What’s In Your Heart?
Most people have heard the expression, “What’s in your wallet?” It’s an advertisement trying to influence you to believe that you have to have that company’s credit card in your wallet. But it made me think instead, “What’s in your heart?” The things we value the most are usually preserved deep within our hearts. Our spouse and children are there, our friends are there, our extended family is there. But is Jesus? Do you know that the things you cherish in your heart eventually come to the surface when you speak? Your heart will reveal who you truly are. Solomon said about man, “For as he thinks within himself, so he is” (Proverbs 23.7, NASB).
