What Is Life?
How would you define life? Many would say it is “being alive.” Actually, that is not far from the way Merriam-Webster defines it. Webster defines “life” as “the quality that distinguishes a vital and functional being from a dead body.” When God created man, the Bible says, “Then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature” (Genesis 2.7). God created man, then gave him life.
