Breaking God’s Heart
Have you ever had your heart broken? When we are young, our hearts are often broken when we break up with someone we love. Our hearts are broken when people who we thought were truly friends say hateful things about us behind our backs. Death of a loved one often breaks one’s heart. There is normally great pain and grief associated with heartbreak. A pain that pierces our heart and causes us to feel saddened, disappointed, and maybe even depressed. No one wants to experience such sorrow. But do we realize that when we sin, we break God’s heart?
